GLOBAL SYSTEM PATH SETTINGS


Cross-Platform System Administration Tip

If you want to set a system path that will apply to all users,
regardless of which shell they use, edit the following file:

For Solaris: /etc/default/login
For HP-UX: /etc/PATH
For AIX: /etc/environment



NOTE: All tips provided are USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Tips are submitted by various unix admins around the globe. UGU suggest you read and test each tip in a non-volitile environment before placing into production.
