FINDING NUM OF DIRECTORIES 
Ever had the need to find how
 many directories are in a
 particular area. The following
 command can be used:
 
 $ find /etc -type d -print | wc -l
 
 (using this at the root level "/" can
 take a long time, be careful)
 
 NOTE: All tips provided are USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Tips are submitted
